Bituminous mastic for waterproofing and gluing heat-insulating boards on Izoplast Mega-Tex solvent, 23 kg ADW
Izoplast Mega-Tex is a bitumen mastic based on an organic solvent for gluing thermal insulation and waterproofing materials.
Application:
- Gluing styrofoam plates (EPS, XPS) to steel profiled sheets
- Gluing plates of solid mineral wool
- Gluing roofing material to existing insulation
- Elimination of small leaks
- Sealing gaps around chimneys
- Filling of small scratches and cracks of vertical and horizontal concrete surfaces

Instructions for use: The surface should be smooth, free of dust and dirt.
Concrete surfaces should be primed with Izoplast R before application. Mix before use. For gluing, the material is applied in strips 4 cm wide (about 3 strips per m2) or dotted (6-8 pcs. on the stove). For roof insulation work, apply a 2-4 mm thick material.
Application Notes / Restrictions:Observe the safety and health regulations during the work.
Use protective gloves, clothing, glasses. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor.

How to apply bituminous mastic?
Depending on whether it is needed for waterproofing or for gluing plates for insulation. Izoplast Mega-Tex mastic is specially made for gluing thermal insulation and waterproofing materials.
- For gluing styrofoam slabs, mastic should be applied in strips 4 cm wide (about 3 strips per m2) or dotted (6-8 pieces per plate).
- And for gluing the roof, apply Izoplast Mega-Tex 2-4 mm thick.
Can bituminous mastic be applied to steel sheets?
Izoplast Mega-Tex adhesive bitumen mastic based on organic solvent specially made for gluing expanded polystyrene onto steel sheets and not corroding it.
