uah / m.p.

EPDM-ProElast membrane is a system for protecting seams from water. ProElast-System is a registered system designed to seal working seams, seams of intentional rupture and deformation seams from soil moisture, water without pressure, periodically rising water and water under pressure. The system consists of a universal one-component InnoElast adhesive and a 1.5 mm thick EPDM membrane ProElast. Both components are universal and can be used for a wide variety of tasks:

  • joints in precast concrete structures
  • joints in monolithic concrete structures
  • when sealing basements
  • expansion joints

Advantages:the system is resistant to positive and negative water pressure

  • possibility of laying on wet surfaces
  • laying at temperatures up to — 3 ° C
  • good compatibility with old bitumen waterproofing
  • high chemical and microbiological resistance
  • wear resistance
  • absence of solvents in the composition (environmentally friendly product)
  • UV resistance

ProElast film is a proven EPDM film with a double—sided surface texture. It is used independently as an elastomeric web and as part of the ProElast insulation system. The ProElast system is a reliable system of external sealing of technological and permanent deformation joints, which withstands high water pressure. The Proelast membrane is a printed membrane based on vulcanized ethylene propylene rubber EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene-copolymer) for sealing joints in concrete structures. The proven ProElast® film can be used for all standard sealing cases by means of a plastic and elastomeric web according to DIN 18195, DIN 18531-18535 standards. Films of different thicknesses are offered for different applications. The ProElast film is a component of the ProElast waterproofing system for external strip waterproofing of technological and permanent deformation joints of concrete parts with high water resistance. This system is resistant to UV rays and can be used in multi-storey high-rise construction. There is no need for mechanical fastening of the membrane edges with flanges or other mechanical fasteners.

InnoElast is a one—component adhesive and sealing compound based on a silane-modified polymer that hardens into an elastic product upon contact with moist air, used for sealing horizontal and vertical joints in concrete structures. It has the ability to self-leveling (self-leveling), as well as high chemical resistance, which allows using this product in horizontal seams as a durable, elastic filler for temperature, technological and false seams with a maximum deformation of up to 10%.The system of sealing seams from water is used to seal working seams, seams of directional rupture and deformation seams from soil moisture, from water without pressure, from periodically rising water, as well as from water under pressure.

Sealing of expansion joints:The system can be used as a sealing of deformation joints with an initial width of up to 20mm, subject to rarely repeated slow deforming loads, as well as in the seams of impassable parts of structures.

Simultaneous change of the seam width and its shift should not exceed 50% of the original joint width. Before laying a system with a membrane width of 300 mm or more, it is necessary to ensure the protection of the sealant, for example, by using a backfill or ensuring the distance to the formwork. The installation of the system takes place in the same way as when sealing the working seams. The inner and outer corners are sealed with membrane segments prepared in advance for them. The system is glued to the entire surface of the corner. It is necessary to pay attention so that in the joint area there is no gluing of the adhesive mass with the parts of the backfill.

Special cases of application of the system:Deformation and separation seams can be performed by analogy with the usual way of arranging the transition of the seam, with the additional use of a round scoring profile.

When laying the material on a surface made of brick, it should be pre-treated with a special sealing sludge (application in two layers). The holes for laying pipes or cables must be protected by a sealing cuff and provided with a funnel-shaped connecting element.

Attention!InnoElast does not contain solvents, silicones and isocyanates.

Before starting to work with the material, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the recommendations and safety instructions described in the safety data sheet. When working with materials that are not subject to mandatory labeling, but are chemical products, appropriate precautions must be observed. InnoElast Typ contains aminosilanes that can cause allergic reactions.

How to use the system correctly?

Sealing of working seams, formed involuntary seams, as well as seams that appeared as a result of deliberate weakening of the concrete body.

InnoElast glue is squeezed onto the cleaned surface from a hand gun (600ml cartridge) in the form of a sine wave with a layer thickness of 15 mm. When laying from a tin bucket, the glue is taken out and applied to the surface directly with a toothed spatula. The distribution of the adhesive mass on the surface must be carried out with the toothed side of the spatula (toothiness B3) until a uniform layer of about 1.5 mm thick is formed. The ProElast membrane is laid on a layer of adhesive mass and pressed into it with a rigid roller, which should be moved from the inside to the outer edge of the membrane. The degree of pressure on the roller should be chosen in such a way that, on the one hand, air residues are removed from under the membrane and, on the other, the adhesive mass is not squeezed out from under the membrane. Excess glue must be removed from the surface before the final sealing of the edges of the membrane.

The connection of the ends of the membrane should be carried out with an overlap of about 100 mm by completely gluing over the entire surface.

The dimensions of the ProElast membrane must correspond to the size and shape of the seam and be prepared in advance. The width of the membrane is selected according to the purpose of application. If the system is used for pressurized water sealing, the membrane must have a width of at least 300 mm. In the area of the joint "foundation plate-wall", where the foundation plate has a protrusion, the membrane must be laid up to the end side of the foundation plate at a distance of at least 100 mm.

The last stage of the installation of the system is the treatment of the ends of the membrane. Their sealing takes place with the help of InnoElast in such a way that there is not a single free edge of the membrane. Seams and surfaces treated by the system and located in the zone of future contact with the ground must be protected from mechanical damage possible during the process of filling the pit with earth.
