What is PPE canvas and where is it used
WHAT IS THE PPE CANVAS?The PPE cloth is a material made of foamed polyethylene without coating.
Foamed polyethylene is able to absorb the load from repeated impacts, while maintaining its integrity. Due to these properties, the material has found its wide application in various fields of construction and light industry. The minimum thickness of the web is 0.8 mm, the maximum is 10 mm. Polyurethane foam serves as a protective shell, as a wrapping or cushioning material.
WHERE IS THE PPE CLOTH USED?The PPE fabric has high performance in waterproofing, thermal insulation, sound insulation properties, therefore it is widely used in civil construction and light industry.
- insulation and sound insulation of ceilings and walls in the construction of buildings and structures
- heat and noise insulation lining for laminate floors, parquet, linoleum
- thermal insulation of large diameter pipelines
- packaging and protective material for the transportation of various goods: furniture, ceramics, glass, wood, household appliances
- insulation material for air conditioners and refrigeration units
HOW TO APPLY THE PPE CLOTH WHEN ARRANGING THE FLOOR?Foamed polyethylene is used as a lining for parquet and laminate.
The rolled material is laid as a separating layer between the floor covering and the floor base. Foamed polyethylene provides cushioning and absorbs unwanted noises that occur when walking on the floor; absorbs moisture, preventing swelling of the floor covering, creates a reliable sound insulation and thermal insulation layer.
