Polyurethane paint for interior and exterior surfaces
Due to its properties, polyurethane paint allows you to protect the surface from various mechanical, chemical or atmospheric influences. Since polyurethane is a plastic polymer material, the paint based on it differs markedly from other analogues and allows you to expand the scope of application.
Depending on the purpose, polyurethane paints can be one- and two-component. The first ones do not contain hardeners in their composition, and their function is performed by the humidity of the surrounding air. The use of such paints is limited by environmental conditions. Two-component formulations, an example of which is Teknobond 650P, are supplied in two containers, a separate coloring compound and a hardener.
This separation of components provides a number of advantages:
- the ability to prepare the necessary amount of paint for a single application, and the remains will not lose their quality during storage
- polymerization and curing of the paint do not depend on environmental conditions and occur without the participation of humidity
- we get a more durable and wear-resistant coating, unlike single-component formulations
- allows it to be used to protect surfaces with special requirements
The scope of application of two-component polyurethane paints extends to surfaces made of concrete, metal, asphalt, stone, polyurethane. They provide excellent adhesion to these materials.
Concrete surfaces are the most durable building material, but the negative influence of the environment leads to its gradual destruction. At production sites, concrete surfaces are subjected to high mechanical loads and chemical effects. Applying polyurethane paint to such substrates prevents these processes and at the same time protects the surface.

In the household sphere, it is possible to protect rooms with possible or constant high humidity, such as building plinths, swimming pools and bathrooms, from moisture and mold. Since Teknobond 650P is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and temperature changes, it is used for painting metal roofs. In addition to its high strength, the surface painted with polyurethane paint retains elasticity, therefore it is applicable to polyurethane skirting boards and allows them to bend without risk.
Polyurethane-based paint will last for a long time where other paint coatings will become unusable from exposure to an aggressive environment. The ease of using paint on asphalt and concrete surfaces makes it possible to quickly apply markings, markers and signs in areas with pedestrian loads in open spaces.
The process of applying two-component polyurethane paints is quite simple. The surface for applying the mixture is cleaned of dust, dirt, oils and foreign substances. Next, the components are mixed in the specified proportion with a low-speed mixer for 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. You can apply the paint in any accessible and convenient way, with a brush, roller or using a spray gun. Please note that the mixture contains a solvent in its composition, protective glasses and gloves should be used during work. Tools and equipment must be cleaned with a solvent after use.
As a result, the surface coated with a two-component polyurethane paint has increased resistance to moisture, temperature changes, various chemicals, atmospheric phenomena and mechanical loads. The unique qualities of this coating put it an order of magnitude higher than other paint materials.
