Erection of formwork using spring clamps
Time does not stand still, and no sphere of human activity has been left without attention by technological progress. The construction area, fortunately, was no exception. It's scary to even think how much time, effort and money it took to erect the formwork with the help of coupling screws and nuts, of which it was necessary to purchase a myriad.
But let's leave these problems in the forgotten past and talk about a breakthrough in the technology of monolithic construction, namely the spring clamp, which is also called chiroz.
A chiroz or spring clamp allows you to fix the formwork panels, due to which it is excellent for the construction of foundations, walls, columns, as well as for casting concrete stairs and monolithic belts.
The simplicity, efficiency and cheapness of using a spring clamp in the construction of formwork is clearly proven by the successful experience of building tens of thousands of houses around the world.
Chiroz is quite easy to use. In order to fix the clamp, it is enough just to put it on the armature and do the same with the key for the spring clamp. Using the upper lever, fix the key on the armature, then, due to a small effort, lower the lower lever of the key down, thereby tightening the chiroz. Everything. Done. The spring clamp is now firmly fixed.
Dismantling the clamp also does not require sophisticated tools, knowledge and many years of experience. It is enough just to hit the tongue of the chiroza with a hammer, thereby loosening the spring, after which it can be easily removed manually.
But ease of use is not all the advantages of the chiroz spring clamp in comparison with a set of coupling screws and nuts.
Let's look at them in more detail.
Firstly, chiroz eliminates the need to use cones and PVC pipes, which, when dismantled, leave holes that require effort and time to process, waterproofing and fill.
Secondly, the reinforcement remains in the concrete, you just need to carefully cut down its edges.
Thirdly, the cost of chiros is significantly lower than the cost of a set of coupling screws with nuts.
And finally, you will not need to wonder where to purchase non-standard shaped coupling screws. In general, you do not have to look for materials for formwork, because reinforcement is a consumable material and there is a fairly large amount of it on all construction sites.
The use of chiroses is undoubtedly more profitable than the use of other formwork components. It will save you not only time and effort, but also money!
