What is fibertex
Fibertex geotextile is a nonwoven fabric made of polypropylene on a needle punching machine. Dry needle punching technology is based on a two-stage process. At the first stage, granulated polypropylene is transformed into fibers by extrusion. At the second stage, polypropylene fibers are processed first on a carding machine, and then on a needle punching machine. Many types of geotextiles undergo heat treatment with infrared radiation, hot air or calendering.

The durable and elastic geotextile prevents mixing and moving of materials and is placed between different layers of the structure. At the same time, it ensures the free movement of water. The pore size of Fibertex geotextile ensures the retention of solid particles, but does not interfere with the free flow of water. Even with intensive hydraulic activity, the separation function is maintained.When using Fibertex geotextile in drainage systems, excess water is removed from the structure not as a result of its passage through Fibertex geotextile, as during filtration, but due to its direction along the surface of Fibertex geotextile itself, as a result of which it is removed from the structure.
When placing the Fibertex geotextile material on both sides of the waterproof construction film, due to the thickness and strength of the geotextile material, the film is protected from mechanical damage.
