Advantages of thermally bonded geotextiles
Thermally bonded geotextile polypropylene geosynthetic material, which is characterized by strength, wear resistance and durability. Thanks to the addition of the HALS UV stabilizer (according to the requirements of EN 12224), as well as a unique heat treatment process, geotextile has excellent technical characteristics, which allows it to be used not only in the construction of buildings and structures, but also in strengthening and drainage of banks, the creation of hydraulic structures and many other areas.
Geotextile is wear-resistant to sudden temperature fluctuations and, at the same time, perfectly passes water, so it is indispensable as a separating and filtering layer in drainage systems. The structure of the pores in this material prevents its silting, since solid particles of soil, sand, crushed stone, etc. are delayed by geotextile, and water, on the contrary, is evenly distributed and passes further throughout the system.
Geotextile production technology:
- The first stage: heating propylene to a liquid state
- The second stage: pushing the resulting mass through special openings
- The third stage: processing of the finished fiber on carding and then needle punching machines, which ensures a strong elastic bond between the fibers
- The fourth stage: heat treatment of canvases
The result is a high–quality thermally bonded geotextile. A novelty on the Ukrainian market, which has no analogues in quality, but is affordable.
