Does the size of the ladder matter?
The choice of the size of the ladder or linear channel directly depends on the average volume of drains. The ladder is mounted in a concrete screed and its dismantling will be quite difficult, because it will be necessary to break the floor covering and the concrete screed. Therefore, before buying a ladder, you need to decide where it will be mounted and what bandwidth should be.
For example: If you plan to use a shower system with an upper shower head "cascade" or "tropical rain", where there is a large water supply, the best choice would be a shower channel that has a large capacity.
We have on sale shower channels of different lengths from 33 cm-80 cm. The choice of length also depends on the planned size of the shower cabin. An important condition for installation is the slope of the floor covering so that there is a good drain and water does not penetrate beyond the shower cabin. Therefore, the installation should be carried out by a specialist who will take into account all the nuances and the drainage system will serve you for many years.
It is convenient that the height of the legs is adjustable for linear ladders. Thanks to this, it is possible to adjust the depth of the ladder taking into account the height of the floor.
The linear ladder has an aesthetic appearance, visually expands the space. There are different options for grilles and even one where you can put a tile on top of the grate and this option will not differ from the floor covering. The grilles are made of stainless steel, with a thickness of 1 to 1.5 mm.
The shower channels have a high throughput of 32 l/min, which will ensure a quick drain of water. There is a horizontal or vertical outlet on a pipe with a diameter of 50 mm.
You can choose from two shutter options that are most suitable for you: dry and double hydraulic lock.
It is mounted along the wall along the width or length of the shower cabin. The slope of the floor is made in one direction to the ladder.
For spot water drainage or for a shower system with a small watering can, a ladder is more suitable. Most often it is square in shape, it can also be seen in the shape of an oval and a triangle. They are versatile, compact and affordable. The housing can be made of polypropylene or completely made of stainless steel.

- they have horizontal and vertical pipe outlet (50, 70, 100 per pipe)
- the shutter is hydro or dry

Under this ladder, a floor with a slope of two types is made: an envelope or from two planes. When laying with an envelope, the ladder is placed in the center of the room or shower cabin.
The advantages of such ladders are affordability and practicality. The only caveat is that the packing of the envelope should be carried out by a specialist.
Linear channels cover more area due to their size and, accordingly, drain water better and faster. Their body can be plastic, and the grille is made of stainless steel or completely made of stainless steel. Easy operation: just wash the floor and wipe the shower channel.
For elderly people who may have problems with the musculoskeletal system, a ladder or a shower channel built into the floor is more suitable than a bathroom or shower cabin.
A compact and practical ladder will cope where the water drain is minimal or average. Affordable and almost invisible in shower cabins.
