How to hang a liquid soap dispenser

The most common type of soap dispensers are wall-mounted dispensers. They are usually installed on the wall in the bathroom or in the kitchen.

The installation of a soap dispenser is not difficult – after all, holes for fixing it are usually provided in the body of this device, and the necessary accessories are included in its delivery kit – mounting bolts.

This process is performed in such an algorithm.

• They put markings on the wall. It indicates the place chosen for the installation of the dispenser, more precisely, the location of its anchor bolts. Most often, the dispenser is hung above the sink, so that it is accessible and convenient.
• Mounting anchors are installed. The wall covering is carefully drilled. To make bolt holes on a tiled wall, use special drills with a graphite tip. Then fix fasteners on the wall.
• The dispenser body is bolted on. Be sure to check the density of the wall mount and the immobility of the dispenser on the wall.

The following tips will help you avoid mistakes when installing a wall-mounted soap dispenser:

• when it comes to the bathroom (bathroom), the location of the mirror should be taken into account – if the distance between the sink and the mirror hanging above it is more than 20 cm, it is advisable to hang the dispenser under the mirror;
• the indicator of the permissible minimum distance from the horizontal plane to the dispenser outlet is 8 cm – if this distance is made smaller, it will be inconvenient to use the dispenser for washing liquid (in this case, the hands will be cramped, and the activation of the button will be difficult);
• in a situation where other objects are located above the washbasin (for example, glasses for toothbrushes and bottles of cosmetics), it is better to hang the soap dispenser to the right of the sink at a height of 1-1.2 m from the floor;
• it is not necessary to install the dispenser over a countertop made of moisture–resistant materials - even with the most careful operation of the dispenser, soap can not get on its surface (the solution to the problem will be a model whose design includes a special shelf for drops).
