What is the best soap dispenser
Our catalog presents dispensers for liquid soap in a wide range – each of these models has its own design, structural and functional features, so it is impossible to say unequivocally which dispenser is the best.
To answer this question, let's try to understand the differences between dispensers that give out soapy liquid – the relevant points are important when choosing such accessories:
- Principle of operation
It can be sensory and mechanical. The most ergonomic and hygienic option is sensor dispensers. Using these dispensers, there is no need to press anything: they automatically give out a portion of soap if you put your palm under the dispenser spout. On sale, you can find sensor models that work from the mains, but most samples of the corresponding soap dispensers require regular purchase of batteries – batteries or lithium batteries. There will be no such need if you buy a mechanical dispenser – it is activated by pressing a button or a release lever. This is a good option for the home, but in public places, especially medical institutions, it is not recommended to install mechanical dispensers – they can become a source of infections. Not so long ago, sensor dispensers appeared with the function of adjusting the volume of the supply of washing liquid – the amount of soap given out in them can be adjusted from 0.5 to 3 ml.
- Type of installation
Liquid soap dispensers are mobile (portable), wall-mounted and installed on the sink. For home use, you can buy a portable dispenser or one that is mounted on the wall – if, of course, there is enough space in the bathroom or kitchen to fix it. Mobile dispensers are impractical for public places – they can be stolen. Dispensers attached to the sink are a convenient option, but having its disadvantages – for example, not all sinks have holes for installing these devices, and performing repair work in such a situation becomes more complicated.
- Design and materials
Dispensers for liquid soap are made of plastic, metal and glass. It is easiest to take care of metal dispensers, and they always look perfect, harmoniously fitting into any interiors. The plastic option is the most inexpensive, but it should be chosen taking into account the interior design of the room, as well as the individual taste of users. Everyone has different tastes: some prefer bright accents and creativity, while others like aristocratic minimalism. Plus glass dispensers – transparency, that is, the ability to see how much soap is left inside. By purchasing a glass dispenser, you will always be able to top up the soap solution in time.
- Volume of vials
Miniature dispensers, characterized by compactness, are the best solution for single people or couples. The larger the family, the larger the volume of the dispenser tank should be. For public places, especially with high traffic, it is worth buying dispensers with a volume of at least 1 liter, otherwise they will have to be refilled too often. Some manufacturers produce models of dispensers for detergent liquids that include two bottles at once – they are convenient for home and hotel rooms: you can pour hand-washing soap into one container, and into another, for example, shower gel or shampoo.
Additional criteria for choosing dispensers are manufacturer and price. It should be remembered that the best quality cannot be too cheap.
