Which inspection hatch is better to choose

If you know what kind of surface material, where the inspection hatch will be installed, then it is not a big problem to pick it up. In most cases, the inspection hatch is equipped with a classic type of door, namely a swing door. But it has its own peculiarities of opening the door. Consider the methods of opening the hatch door:

• Pressing opening. This method is chosen when the tile surface has irregularities, matte or embossed.
   
• On suction cups. This option is better suited for glossy surfaces. But glossy surfaces are not always used only with models on suction cups, with them it is possible to install a pressing opening.

If this is a wall or floor hatch with a masking installation under the tile, it is still better to use push-openers. After all, in the version with suction cups, you need to use a special handle with a lever-type suction cup to open them. In shape, such suckers resemble glass carrying equipment.

What is the minimum size of the hatch should be?The most important thing when choosing a hatch is that there should be a multiple of two tiles on it.

So the hatch will look natural and beautiful. Therefore, the size of the hatch should be selected according to the size of the glued tile, so that it is not cut off later:

• If the tile has a size of 30x60 cm, it is better to select a hidden hatch 60x60. There is no need to worry that the size will completely coincide with the size of the hatch, because the door will be slightly smaller – by 2-5 cm. Therefore, after you make the cladding, you do not have to trim the tile.
• If you have chosen a tile with a size of 20x30 cm, it is stacked vertically and you need it to be closed by 4 tiles (when folded, it is 40x60 cm in size, then you need to choose a hatch with a size of 40x60 cm).
• It should also be noted that the optimal hatch size is 60x60 cm or 50x40 cm. Less popular are 40x40 cm, 40x50 cm, 40x60 cm. Among the small sizes you can find 20x20 cm, 20x30 cm, 30x30 cm. The smallest ones are used in places where there is a single tap or counter. There are also hatches of very large sizes: 60x90 cm, 60x100 cm, 60x120 cm or 75x75 cm and 80x90 cm.

Depending on the size, the hatches are used in different rooms, which can be a bath, kitchen, basement, etc. The main thing is to choose the right size and paste the tile on the hatch.
