Types of sewer drains

Sewer ladders are sanitary devices that ensure effective removal of water from the floor surface. Their use is not limited to the placement of bathrooms, they are needed wherever water is spilled or accumulates, and where strict sanitary requirements are imposed. These are all kinds of production workshops, laboratories and hospitals, garages and car washes, basements, boiler rooms, etc.

Ladders have a simple design, are easy to install and do not require maintenance. High throughput ensures reliable and high-quality drainage. A variety of shapes and sizes allows you to choose a design for any room. Each model is equipped with a water lock that prevents the penetration of an unpleasant odor from the sewer into the room, as well as a grate that will not only give an aesthetic appearance to the room (decorative grilles), but also protect the sewer system from various debris.

Sewer ladders differ in design and purpose, depending on the premises where their operation is planned.

By their design, sewer ladders can be horizontal and vertical, depending on the shape of the outlet (outlet) hole. The use of a horizontal or vertical ladder depends on the depth of the pipe laying.

In horizontal ladders, the release is directed to the side. Horizontal (side) ladders are used when the sewer is located directly under the very surface of the floor. Ladders with such a release are used in household, public and industrial premises in multi-storey buildings.
In vertical ladders, the release is directed downwards. Vertical (direct-flow) ladders are installed in cases where the sewer runs deep underground. Ladders with direct discharge better pass large volumes of wastewater and are widely used in single-storey public, industrial and other buildings.

Street ladders are relatively large in size and of considerable strength (they can withstand loads of several tons).
