What size bin should be in the kitchen
The interior of any kitchen, regardless of its design style and area, includes the necessary kitchen utensils, household appliances, furniture and special accessories, one of which is a garbage bucket.
Choose a dumpster based on the features of its construction, design, functionality, materials and cost. However, the most important criteria for selecting a garbage bucket for the kitchen are its dimensions and litre.

What to consider when choosing the dimensions and capacity of a garbage bucket?
Which parameters of the trash can are optimal for your kitchen depends on a number of factors:
- the type and location of the kitchen – it can be located in an apartment, a residential building or, for example, in a restaurant or in the dining room of a sanatorium;
- the space allocated for the cooking area – bulky waste containers simply won't fit in small-sized kitchen spaces;
- the amount of garbage – the recommended volumes of the garbage collector should be such that emptying is required no more than once a day;
- the number of residents who use the kitchen (or whom it serves) – the smallest trash can is suitable for a single person's apartment, and for large families you will need a much larger capacity.
For the kitchens of catering establishments, depending on the number of customers they serve daily, you should purchase garbage buckets with a liter capacity of 40 to 60 liters. The largest models differ in height up to 65 cm and diameter up to 43 cm.
A rational solution is to buy several garbage buckets for the kitchen of a cafe with high attendance, for example, two or three containers with a capacity of 30 liters with a size of 50x39x30 cm. The same, quite roomy models are suitable for the kitchens of apartments of large and friendly families.
But if the kitchen interior is cramped, as it often happens in high-rise apartments, it is better to give preference to a standard 12-16 liter trash can.
