This process is performed in the following sequence.

• The cord is unpacked – it is released from the cellophane film in which the SANPOL Hydrostop is supplied.
• The cord is laid out on the central section of the monolithic structure (this area must be prepared and cleaned).
• The bentonite cord is laid. To do this, it is placed inside the reinforcement cage. Laying outside, from the side of the protective layer of concrete, is unacceptable.
• The cord is laid out, retreating from the edge. The indentation distance depends on the size of the cord. For a cord with a cross section of 5x20 and 10x20 should be at least 5 cm, and for a cord of 15x25 mm – at least 7 cm.

If it is necessary to seal cold seams with a width of 25 to 40 cm, use a bentonite cord with a cross section of 20x30 mm. The cord of similar parameters is also used for structures that are located deep or are subject to significant groundwater pressure.
Installation of a bentonite cord with a circular cross section d22 involves inserting it into the hole after the coupling screw with subsequent putty. To do this, use the repair mixture Teknorep 300 EX.
Measurements of the minimum distance are made from the water pressure side.
