The principle of operation is that as a result of hydration, the bentonite cord increases in volume, forming a gel-like mass that fills all cracks and voids and reliably seals the seams of the concrete structure. The cord expands 4 times in the concrete body.

Bentonite is a natural clay mineral that, upon contact with water, swells and increases its size. In a confined space, it creates a stress that reduces water permeability, even in the presence of cracks and porous places in concrete. Due to this, it is an ideal material for reliable waterproofing of concrete structures. Excellent technological performance and an easy installation method make it possible to use the product as an insulating material for joints in underground construction, hydraulic structures and civil engineering.
Application:designed for waterproofing joints or eliminating leaks in concrete structures (basements, swimming pools, places of interface with pipes, sewer systems, etc.), forming a flexible and elastic gasket or a flexible seal in a seam or crack;

How to install bentonite cord?
