Bentonite cord "Sanpol" (bentonite harness, bentonite tape or waterproofing gasket) is used to seal cold joints, joints of joints, joints of concreting breaks or joints of structural reinforced concrete elements. Upon contact with water, the bentonite cord increases in volume more than twice, thereby blocking the path of water passage inside the structure.

Bentonite cord in comparison with other materials is easy to install, does not require additional time and money, installation does not take much time. For installation, you will only need dowels on concrete or universal construction glue! Fixing to the base is carried out so that during the pouring of concrete, the bentonite bundle does not float to the surface and does not shift horizontally.The distance from the cord to the edge of the structure is not more than 70 mm for a cord with a cross section of 15x25 mm and 50 mm, for a cord with a cross section of 10x20 mm and 5x20 mm. The minimum distance is measured from the side of the water support.
