Installation is performed using a pressing method and requires no soldering or welding. The S-Press Plus system is designed for fast, reliable, and controlled installation.
Installation procedure:
- 1. Preparing the pipe
Cut the Uponor multilayer pipe at a 90° angle using a pipe cutter.
If necessary, calibrate and chamfer using the appropriate Uponor tool.
- 2. Inserting the pipe into the fitting
Insert the pipe into the press fitting until it stops.
Thanks to the inspection windows in the sleeve, you can visually check the correct fit of the pipe.
- 3. Pressing
Use certified pressing tool with appropriate pressing jaws (compatible with the S-Press Plus system).
Perform pressing according to the tool manufacturer's instructions.
Once pressed, the sleeve securely holds the pipe, creating a tight connection.
- 4. Connection control
The system has a function for monitoring unpressed connections – in case of missed pressing, the connection is detected during system pressure testing.
- 5. Connecting the threaded part
Connect the appropriate threaded element to the 3/4" internal thread using sealing material (according to installation requirements).
Important:
- Use only original Uponor tools and accessories.
- Observe the technical parameters of the system (pressure, temperature) in accordance with the design.
- After completing the installation, be sure to carry out a hydraulic test of the system.
This installation method ensures quick installation, durability and high reliability of the connection without the need for further maintenance.
