How to apply waterproofing to walls?When working with Teknomer 200 EX Crystallized, it is important to adhere to the following recommendations:
The surface to be treated must be cleaned of dirt and degreased for better setting.
- To mix the working solution, pour the dry component into the liquid in small portions and mix with a construction mixer at low speeds until a homogeneous consistency is formed. After that, let the solution stand for 3-5 minutes and mix again. The targeted pot life of the mixture is 2 hours, so it is better not to mix everything at once.
- Waterproofing is applied to a moistened surface. It is recommended to apply layers perpendicular to each other. The total layer should be at least 3 mm.
- The drying time of the layer is 3 hours. If more than 12 hours have passed after the previous layer has dried, it is necessary to moisten the surface again before applying a new layer.
The mass of the finished mixture is 35 kg. The waterproofing consumption is 1.4 kg/m2. One package of Teknomer 200 EX Crystallized is enough for waterproofing walls with an area of 25 m2 in one layer.
