Acrylic waterproofing Teknomer 300, 3 kg TEKNO

Instructions for use:

The surface for application must be cleaned of any kind of oil, rust, detergents and other substances that prevent setting. If there are areas in the form of cracks, cavities on the surface - they should be repaired beforehand with the help of convenient cement mixtures Teknorep 300 and Teknorep 300 EX.  Corners and joints on the application surface must be sealed with Teknomer Pah Band 120/70 elastic insulating tape.

Before application, the material must be mixed until a homogeneous consistency is formed. To use TEKNOMER 300 as a primer, it is necessary to dilute it with clean water in a ratio of 1: 1. Apply the material with a brush or roller on a dry surface. Each subsequent layer of material should be applied perpendicular to the application of the previous one, as reinforcement between layers, if desired, you can use a reinforcing mesh made of fiberglass. 

Application Notes/Limitations:

• Finishing with tiles, ceramics or other materials should be carried out no earlier than 3 days after applying Teknomer 300.
• Do not use the material under adverse weather conditions (high humidity, air temperature above 35 °C).
• Do not use the material on a surface that has a risk of freezing within 24 hours after application.
• Before use, it is necessary to mix.
• Apply to a moistened surface with a brush, roller.
• Depending on the absorbency of the surface, Teknomer 300 can be diluted with water up to 50% to obtain a primer solution. If desired, a fiberglass mesh can be used as reinforcement between the layers. The waiting time between layers is at least 5 hours.
• Each subsequent layer is applied perpendicular to the previous one.
• After application, the surface must be protected from adverse weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (above +35 °C), rain and frost.
• The equipment should be rinsed with water immediately after application.
