K-2 sealant tape 15 *1,0 is a vapor barrier sealing tape designed for bonding steam - hydro barrier and membranes, as well as materials made of steel, glass, foam, polyethylene, aluminum. Universal, eco-friendly, does not contain harmful substances. It is used for gluing under-roof films, sealing joints, air ducts, for installing insulation, during installation and repair of plumbing communications, for automobile vans (kung). Elastic along the entire length and resistant to damage. Butyl is a rubber tape with a double-sided working surface of constant stickiness, which is protected by siliconized paper. Excellent adhesion to various surfaces: glass, aluminum, steel, polymer coatings, fiberglass and other construction surfaces.

How to mount tape sealant K-2?
1. Clean the surface from dirt and dust. Concrete and brick surfaces are recommended to be additionally treated with a primer to improve the adhesion of the tape to the surface.
2. When working at a temperature below 5 °, it is necessary to withstand butyl rubber sealant at room temperature for at least 12 hours.
3. Unwinding the tape, smoothly glue it to one surface to be treated.
4. Smooth the surface of the tape with a rubber roller so that it fits snugly to the surface.
5. Remove the protective paper anti-adhesive layer and glue the second surface.
What is butyl rubber tape K-2 used for?
LB/K-2 butyl tape is used to connect drainage membranes with each other during vertical and horizontal overlapping of cloths. Also, butyl rubber insulation tape is used for:
- glazing of greenhouses
- bonding of roofing films and membranes
- sealing of roof elements and drains, chimneys, pipes
- for waterproofing of junctions and joints of metal profile structures
- repair and installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems
