Instructions for use

Surface preparation:

• The application surface must be cleaned of materials that prevent adhesion, such as dust, oil, resins and detergents.
• Weak parts of the surface should be dismantled.
• Chips, potholes and pits on the surface should be repaired with the help of appropriate Teknorep repair compounds.
• Painted surfaces should be pre-primed with Teknolatex 300, or notches should be made to increase adhesion with an adhesive solution. Before starting work on laying thermal insulation plates, the surface should be cleaned with compressed air.

Preparation and application of adhesive solution:

The dry mixture should be added to the water in a ratio of - 1 kg of the mixture per 0.25 liters of water and kneaded with a mixer at low speeds.Leave the solution for 5 minutes and mix again before use.

The adhesive solution is applied to the surface of the insulation plate and stretched with a toothed spatula. The plate is pressed against the surface of the base so that at least 40% of the adhesive solution is distributed between the plate and the base. The plates must be glued end-to-end, excluding the coincidence of vertical seams. The width of the seams between the thermal insulation plates should not exceed 2 mm. Fixing plates with facade dowels should be carried out no earlier than 24-48 hours after they are glued, depending on the ambient temperature.   

Notes / restrictions on use:

• Do not add foreign substances to the solution
• The equipment used should be washed with warm water and detergent immediately after application. After curing, the material from the equipment can only be cleaned mechanically
• When working with glue, use basic protective equipment – gloves, glasses, a respirator. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with warm water and consult a doctor.
