Reinforcement clamp post universal protective layer 50 mm, 500 pcs. Sanpol
The universal 50/8 mm retainer is used to fix the reinforcement in a horizontal position when installing floors, pouring concrete slabs, industrial floors and various architectural solutions where reliable reinforcement is required. Provides a protective layer of 50 mm and is used for fittings from 8 to 12mm. For reliable fixation of the reinforcement, it is recommended to use from 5 to 10 fasteners per square meter. The smaller the diameter of the armature, the more retainers are used.

The universal 50 mm stand retainer is used to fix the reinforcement in a horizontal position when installing floor slabs, screed, industrial floors and other architectural solutions. The retainer of the protective layer is used to install a horizontal layer of concrete reinforcement or on any other rigid base. The special design of the retainer distributes the load over the entire area of the product, which in turn provides greater reliability under the pressure of the reinforcement frame.
The universal retainer is used for fittings with a diameter of 8 to 16 mm and provides a protective layer of 50 mm.
Made of plastic, packing 500 pcs. in the package. The recommended consumption is from 4 to 6 pcs/m2.

How thick should the protective layer be?
The parameters of the protective layer are clearly regulated by the norms:at standard or low humidity in the room, the thickness of the protective layer of concrete should not be less than 20 mm.
- in case of high humidity inside the structures, the concrete thickness should be at least 25 mm.
- during the construction of buildings, the reinforced concrete parts of which go out into the open atmosphere, the protective layer of concrete should be 30 – 40 mm.
- for floors up to 250 mm thick, the concrete layer must be at least 12 mm. This value varies depending on the diameter of the valve. For overlaps of greater thickness, the thickness of the formation increases by 5 mm;
- the part of the structure placed in the ground without the use of additional protection should be covered with a layer of concrete from 40 to 76 mm.
- for foundations, a layer thickness of at least 40 mm is provided.
