How to waterproof a flat roof

For roof waterproofing devices:A water-based bitumen primer.
The material for priming the surface, i.e. for preparation before applying the base layer.
- Material consumption: 0.2-0.3 kg per m2.
Bitumen-rubber mastic on a water basis. Material for creating a solid main insulation coating. Ready-to-use single-component mass modified with synthetic rubber. The thixotropic properties of the dispersion allow it to be applied to any inclined surfaces. The applied layer of insulation coating is resistant to atmospheric influences, water, weak acids.
- Material consumption: 1.0 kg per m2 in one layer., when reinforced, the consumption is 1.2 – 1.5 kg per m2. The number of layers is 2-3. The method of application is with a wide brush, roller, spray.
Bitumen –rubber mastic based on a solvent with aluminum powder is used to protect the main layer of waterproofing from external influences and ultraviolet light, forming a reflective coating. Mastic is also used for anticorrosive protection of metal structures.
- Material consumption: 0.1 – 0.2 kg per m2.
For roofing, as well as repair or preservation of existing roofing:Bitumen primer based on solvent.
The material for priming the base, i.e. increasing the adhesion for applying the main bitumen coating. The primer is applied to metal, concrete, cement-sand surfaces, under roofing materials before laying them.
- Material consumption: 0.2 – 0.3 kg per m2.
Bitumen-rubber mastic based on solvent, modified with rubber and chemical elements. The material is used to create a high-quality elastic bitumen coating that prevents the formation of microcracks in the base. The product is used for the installation of mastic roofs and repair of all types of surfaces.
- Material consumption : 0.7-1.5 kg per m2. The number of layers is 2-4 . The method of application is by brush, roller, spray.
For roofing, gluing bitumen shingles, roofing material:Bitumen primer based on solvent.
Elastic bitumen-rubber mastic based on organic solvents, modified with resin. It is used for waterproofing the roof, as well as for gluing roofing material, bitumen shingles. It is used to create a seamless elastic layer, as a coating waterproofing it is applied in 2-3 layers with geotextile reinforcement.
- Material consumption: 08, - 1.5 kg. The number of layers is 2 – 4. Application method: brush, roller.
To perform sealing of seams, joints on the roofing surface:Roofing elastic rubber sealant used for deformation joints and seams on facades, roofing coverings.
Ideal for use as a sealant adhesive for various roofing works: repair of roofing materials, sealing of ventilation, flue channels and pipes, filling of expansion joints and joints in roofs, sealing of roofing tin elements, gluing of bitumen-based materials to concrete, metal surfaces.
- Material consumption: cartridge – 300 ml per 12 m.p. with a seam cross section of 5 * 5 mm.
Bitumen-rubber roofing sealant based on organic solvents. The material is designed for sealing, repairing seams, cracks and holes on all types of roofing surfaces. It is used as a sealer for various roofing works, for sealing leaks, for filling seams around roofing channels, drainage systems, chimneys.
- Consumption: 300 ml – cartridge – 12 m.p. with a seam size of 5 * 5 mm.
