Elastic one-component polyurethane sealant Profflex PU40 for seams, 600 ml. Tenax

PROFFLEX PU40 is a high-quality neutral, elastic one-component sealant for construction joints and polyurethane-based adhesive.

Areas of application:

• all types of sealing and bonding in the construction industry;
• structural connections in vibrating structures;
• sealing of shrinkage joints in concrete floors;
• gluing tiles

Substrates: all conventional building materials, metals, polyesters.
• Nature: tough, clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
• Surface preparation: Apply Primer 100 to porous substrates. Prepare non-porous surfaces with a primer or cleaner.
• No adhesion to PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bitumen bases. We recommend a preliminary adhesion and compatibility test on each surface

PROFFLEX PU40 can be painted with most water-based paints, however, due to the large number of paints and varnishes available, we recommend a compatibility test before application.
PROFFLEX PU40 has good UV resistance, but can discolor under extreme conditions or after very long exposure to UV rays.
Before use, it is recommended to conduct a compatibility test. Avoid contact with butyl, tar or other materials that emit plasticizers, such as ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM rubber), neoprene, bottle, etc., as this can cause discoloration and loss of adhesion.
Do not apply or fix in the presence of non-cured silicone sealants, alcohol or other solvent-based cleaning agents.
When using various reactive joint sealants, the first joint sealer must be fully cured before applying the next one.
